Epidemiology

Florida Department of Health in Madison County Epimemoiology (EPI) team monitors trends of reportable diseases that may occur in Madison County.  The team investigates all food and water borne diseases as well as all animal bite cases that occur within the county.  Additionaly, the team is actively involved in preparedness for early detection of any terrorist incidents utilizing biological agents.
