Health Alert Has Been Lifted After Recent Samples

Madison, Fla. —The Florida Department of Health in Madison County (DOH-Madison) has
lifted a health alert issued on July 28, 2021.


Water samples taken by the DOH-Madison indicate the river water meets surface water quality standards ensuring the public may resume water-related activities. All future sample results can be viewed on the Florida Department of Environmental Protection site:
